debugger breaks/crashes when setting a variable in live expressions window (Segger JLINK)

Hi

I have a global variable in the CUBE IDE's LIVE EXPRESSIONS window, I can see the values of my variablechaning. The values make sense. When I change the value manually, either the execution stops, the value is changed and I have to click on RESUME/F8 to continue debugging or the debugger detaches from target.

Is this a known issue?

I am using Segger Jlink via Jtag and/or SWD

I that case I use STMStudio to inject varaible value while is running application.

I'm trying to do the same but seem to don't works using STCubeIDE and STLink via SWD.
