Are there any examples that configure and use the Burst Mode Controller for HRTIM? I did not see any under the example selector.

I have found for you example that could be described as Multiphase demonstration overview. It is further described in HRTIM cookbook AN4539 page 42.

The demonstration starts in 5-phase mode. If the push-button is pressed, the demonstration mode changes so that all phase shedding options are scanned: from 5- to 1-phase, and finally burst mode. The example could be found in STM32F3Cube FW package under \Projects\ STM32F3348-Discovery\Examples\ HRTIM\HRTIM_Multiphase.
