Hi Peter,
I just noticed that the LED of ST-Link turned off when I activate the SWV.

On the ST-Link V2 of the STM32F429I-DISC1 kit, the same problem when SWV is activated.

Should be able to find an older version of the Upgrade app, and apply that. Look at older versions of STM32 Cube Programmer, and what comes in each.
