stm32cubeide resset the chip and restart debug session not working

Lately the reset button doesn't work properly anymore .

When i press the "bug" button to debug, the program jumps to main(), but once i have let the program run and press this button

It runs the program without break at main, when i pause the program i see space in memory without debug info.

The debug settings seems ok.

what can be wrong?

Have you set up a restart configuration? You can find information about it in chapter 3.5.7.2 in the user guide which you'll find here.

It might also help to untick the "Resume" box.
