Hi,
I changed on my hardware the SPWF01 against a SPWF04 module. I communicate with the module via a STM32. If I use the SPWF04 module, I need a pull down resistor at the SPWF RTS output to get the communication working. I wonder why? Any ideas?

We have a customer using
SPWF04 recently and found this module when running at standby mode would draw around >1mA current rather than uA level mentioned in the datasheet. They were using SPWF01 before and did not see this problem. May I know if SPWF04 could be a compatible replacement for SPWF01, any notice/tips for Hardware redesign or AT comment settings? I have asked them to pull down some GPIO externally e.g. GPIO7,8,9, but standby current is mA. Thanks.

Hello Flow,
the SPWF RTS output is not driven when HW flow control is disabled (console_hwfc=0).
Please verify the HW flow control is enabled on both SPWF and host micro, or HW flow control is disabled on both SPWF and host micro.

Elio
