What is the Hall sensor MTPA?

What is MTPA in the MC workbench speed position feedback management --> Hall sensors? This is NOT the Maximum Torque Per Amp, I believe. Any reference for this?

Hi,

It seems to be some kind of interpolation algorithm to estimate the position of the rotor based on the 6 ticks (rising edge and falling edges) of the 3 hall sensors.
