How to modify device tree in a Distribution Package

Hello ,

On Page : https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_customize_the_Linux_kernel

cd <build dir>/workspace/sources/<name of kernel recipe>/

PC $> git format-patch -2

Is this correct?

I can find the source inside the build/tmp-glibc/work/....and not the above path.

Please clarify.
