Why last activity time of threads in this forum is updated without obvious reason?

Has anybody noticed this? Last activity time in old threads is updated and they raise up in "most recent activity" sorting order. For example this thread: what happened there on June 1 to update its activity time?

It was marked as answered long ago. not today.

If likes/unlikes affect last activity, this IMHO is not helpful and should be disabled.

Because this can be abused to move any thread up: you just click like then unlike. Nothing changes but the thread moves up in last activity order,

"Like" doesn't seem to affect activity time.
