Hi, it seems that this macro has a bug - it does not clear the bits before ORing the new prescaler value in. V1.7.

Thanks for bringing this error to our attention.

I agree that current implementation will not work when trying to go from a lower frequency to a higher one.

It is reported to be fixed in coming versions of HRTIM header file inside STM32CubeF3 package.
