Hello,
I hate to say this, but I am completely lost in regards to programming FDCAN to receive extended ID messages from an ECU. I looked to the examples provided in the IDE as well as other questions on this forum, but am still confused. I have a strong understanding of CAN 2.0 on an Nucleo F446 (and got said F446 to communicate with the ECU), but this is just beyond me. If I could just be pointed in the right direction for this (setting up nominal and data rates (and the difference between the two), and general programming with and without filters), I would appreciate it a lot.
Thank y'all in advance.

Hi @Aaronium ,
As you have already a strong understanding of CAN 2.0, I believe that AN5348 FDCAN peripheral on STM32 devices will be very useful in your case to understand more FDCAN.
