Analog microphone use from audio jack of STM32F412G-DISCOVERY Board

I am looking for help capturing (analog) audio from a microphone headset plugged into CN9 of the STM32F412G-DISCOVERY board. I have no problem doing this with the MEMS microphones on the board, but have an application that requires use of the headset microphone instead. I believe I have set all WM8994 registers properly to do this, but am still unable to solve the problem.

Any suggestions, a help examples, or other guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Show your settings.

Do you see analogue audio at the CODEC input?

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.
