TDA7850 replace TDA7388

I installed the power amplifier and replaced the TDA7388 with a TDA7850, but there's no sound after installation. What could be the reason?

Welcome @henrylin, to the community!

  • Why did you replace the TDA7388?
  • If it was because of a defect, how can you be sure that the speakers and the connections to them are working?
  • Did you check the relevant voltages (MUTE, ST-BY, VCC pins)?
  • To be on the safe side, you should also place a 10k resistor from pin 25 to GND, which was not necessary with the TDA7388, but with TDA7850.
