Dear Members.
The current BMS board design has not taken in consideration all the recommendation for a Hot Plug capable design.
To make your system hot-plug resistant make sure to follow the recommendations below:
- Change the battery connector with a hot plug capable one
- AGND and DGND grounds shall be connected to the internal node (i.e. GND of the chip) through the drain of the MHOT FET.
- GND_ESD and PACK_GND grounds shall be connected to the negative terminal of the battery pack
- All big capacitors on the VBAT line shall be tied to the GND_ESD ground.
