I think you might want to start with a more open filter.The diode circuit is one Tede has used before. Pretty sure it should work in this context, all my boards have transceivers on the CAN interfaces.There is an F4 CAN1 to CAN2 demo toward the end of this thread. It's for the RedDragon board but should suffice here.
