The FAQ states that its not possible for STM32F1 but for newer STM32 families its possible. Please clarify.

As you can see, the Reference manual doesn't mention connectivity line MCUs but the FAQ says STM32F1 devices. STM32F105/107 are connectivity line MCUs. This creates a confusion.

Have a look in the datasheet and the reference manual. There is a single block of dedicated memory that only one can use.
