uPSD33xx VM reg

I had a rep tell me that the 3300 unit was easier to use for applications where you need to download new code to a unit in the field. He eluded to a change in the memory map logic that made this chip more flexable that the psd813F2 I was using.

Can anyone confirm this? I have looked in the manual but on a quick scan see no difference between the VM reg of a standard PSD part and the uPSD3354D series

So theres no truth to the claim that flash in program space can be programed? As in the original part, you must have the flash in data space to change it?
